FAQs » How do I set up a visit to DMACC?

How do I schedule a visit?

Please visit our DMACC tours website or call us toll-free at 1-800-362-2127 to schedule a tour at one of our six beautiful DMACC campuses.

What are Discover DMACC Days?

Discover DMACC Days give you a chance to experience DMACC first hand. Offered at all of our campuses each semester, high school juniors, seniors and parents can come experience DMACC, learn about our programs, take a tour, and lunch is on us. Please visit our Discover DMACC Days website for more information.

What is included in a campus visit?

While on a campus visit, you will have the opportunity to tour your program of interest and many student resources, ex. bookstore, library, academic achievement center, cafeteria, student services building and much more. Prior to your visit, you are encouraged to explore DMACC’s website for other areas or points of interest that you may request to tour.

Will I be able to meet with faculty or specific advisors during my tour?

Scheduling a tour allows prospective students the opportunity to visit with an academic advisor to discuss details of their program of interest. DMACC faculty is accessible and eager to meet with students to discuss programs, as well. If you wish to meet with either faculty or an academic advisor while on campus, you can arrange a meeting by calling the tour line for the campus you are visiting and speaking with your tour guide. (Reference the right-side, blue column listing.)

How long will a campus tour take?

Allow thirty minutes to an hour for a campus visit. A student ambassador will give you a general campus tour as well as visiting your area of interest. While on campus students are also welcome to schedule COMPASS testing, visit with Financial Aid and academic advisors which would require more time.

Do you offer Discover DMACC Days on evenings or weekends?

Each semester we offer Discover DMACC events during the evening and on the weekends. Visit the Discover DMACC page to find the dates and times.
