Each year the DMACC Foundation and Alumni Association receive many generous gifts from alumni, friends, corporations and foundations. These fundraising efforts, combined with earnings from the Foundation's investments, provide student scholarships to hundreds of students annually. These scholarships are awarded through a competitive online application process. Awards are based on financial need, academic achievement or a combination of both.
Students seeking scholarship support for the Summer 2014 or Fall 2014 semester are encouraged to complete the online application. Scholarships will be offered to both full-time and part-time students who meet the criteria listed below. Scholarships will be awarded for the Summer 2014 or Fall 2014 semester if indicated on your application, and may be applied toward charges for tuition, fees, and/or books.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Completed DMACC Admissions application must be on file -OR- must be enrolled as a current DMACC student.
- Cumulative GPA for most recent coursework PRIOR to Summer 2014 or Fall 2014 semester - 2.0 or higher
- Students who have completed less than 6 DMACC credits (PRIOR to Fall 2014) will be instructed to upload or send a transcript (official, unofficial, or scanned copy) from their most recent school, to be received in the DMACC Scholarship Office by the application deadline. Applicants with no recorded grade within the last ten years will be exempt from this requirement.
