It's very important for every driver to be able to control the vehicle they are driving under any road conditions.


Our on-site skid pad gives drivers the chance to experience
skids first-hand.

 Participants learn:
  • How adverse weather affects road conditions
  • 7 major causes of skids
  • 3 types of traction
  • What happens with a sliding wheel
  • Appropriate action to correct a skid
  • What happens at that Fatal 15 degrees
  • How to avoid skids in the first place
  • How an 80,000 pound vehicle can hydroplane
  • Types of braking actions that are effective
