Enrollment Steps

Enrollment in our program is simple. 

1. You must first meet the entrance requirements for Commercial Vehicle Operator Training.

2. Please call the Transportation Institute at 515-965-7450 / 515-262-1680 / 800-35DRIVE to confirm your planned attendance at least a week prior to your planned start date.
3. Enrollment is normally completed on the first day of class as long as all of the entrance requirements (from above) are completed.
4. Some individuals may need to be pre-enrolled before the class start date to comply with third party funding requirements. Pre-enrollment is normally not an issue as long as the entrance requirements are met.

Obtaining Financial Aid
If you need financial aid, please plan to apply as early in advance of the course start date as possible. Click here to see financial aid options. Wells Fargo loans may take up to 2-3 weeks to process after you have been pre-approved and some work force funding options can take time to complete their funding process.
