Registration for New Full-Time Students

(8 hours or more Summer Semester, 12 hours or more Fall/Spring Semester)

"New Students” include students who are new to DMACC and students who are new to a program after being accepted into the College for the first time, accepted into a program from a waiting or stand-by list or accepted into a different program after a change of major.

Prior to registering for classes, new full-time students must:

• submit an application (go to Admissions for more information),
• be accepted, 
• complete the Required Assessment (go to Guidelines for Required Assessment for more information), and
• attend a registration session to schedule classes.

Accepted (Ankeny and Urban) students will be notified by mail when their specific registration session is to take place. If you have been accepted but have not received notification for your registration session, call the campus you plan to attend. See numbers on the right. Walk in registration is not available for new full-time students at Ankeny and Urban.
