Facts about the ITR Program

ITR courses were first offered at DMACC during the Fall 2005 semester.
The ITR Associate of Science Degree and Certificate Programs were formally approved by the Iowa Department of Education during the Spring 2006 semester.
More than 50 students have taken ITR courses to date.
Languages spoken by ITR students include: Spanish, Arabic, Bosnian, Dinka, German, Korean, Russian, and Vietnamese. All languages (including American Sign Language) are welcome!

Attend required information/orientation session. For details on the next session, click here.
Provide evidence of proficiency in English. Details on proficiency requirements can be found in the ITR Program Information Briefs.
Provide evidence of proficiency in a second language. Details on proficiency requirements can be found in the ITR Program Information Briefs.
NOTE: Students will need computer skills to be successful in the ITR program. If students do not have these skills, completion of CSC 110 or BCA 212 is strongly recommended.
