What Skills and Abilities Will You Need?
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic principles of electronics, physics, mathematics, and programming.
- Apply such knowledge to problems surrounding the operation, installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of computer and network equipment.
- Communicate with business people, computer operators, and technicians about the safe operation, installation, and modification of equipment.
- Demonstrate ability to understand the technical manuals and other literature to upgrade existing skills and learn new skills.

Program Entry Requirements
- Complete an application.
- Satisfy the assessment requirement and attend any required information/registration sessions.
- Complete
the required departmental algebra
requirement by:
- completing department entrance exam obtaining a satisfactory score of 17 or higher, or
- submitting ACT scores with a math sub score of 19 or higher, or
- submit official high school transcripts showing successful completion of high school algebra II or higher within the last 5 years, or
- successful completion of MAT073 or an equivalent course with a grade of “C” or better.
Graduation Requirements
To earn an Information Technology Network Administration AAS degree, a student
must complete all course work as prescribed and maintain a 2.0 grade point
average.
