Dave Beltrame
Program Chair, Instructor in Prepress, Printing,
Finishing, Offset, Screen Printing, and Flexography
Dave has more than 30 years experience in printing and prepress. Prior to working at DMACC, he worked at Northwestern Printing and Publishing (now Color FX) in various departments including press, prepress, and estimating. He also has been in supervisory positions of various entities including production and quality control.
He began teaching at DMACC in the fall of 2004 and provides instruction in basic and advanced printing techniques in offset, screen, and flexography. He also teaches bindery and finishing, and print job planning and management.

Carin Murphy, M. Ed
Instructor: Digital Prepress, Imaging,
Desktop Publishing, and Design
Carin has worked as a graphic designer, art director, and print production coordinator in advertising, publishing, and in-house printing/publishing companies. She began teaching at DMACC in the Spring of 1998 and provides instruction in basic and advanced Adobe InDesign, Photoshop , digital imaging and image color correction, digital prepress, and variable data publishing.

Jessica Kreyling
Adjunct Instructor: Design, Digital Imaging, Prepress and Screen Printing
Jessica graduated from DMACC's Graphic Technologies Program in 2005 with her emphasis in Desktop Publishing and Design. She went on to work in design and prepress at Accent Tag & Label in Des Moines. In 2008, she began substitute teaching for the Graphic Technologies program. In the Summer of 2010 she became an adjunct instructor for the program, teaching in Photoshop and Illustrator. When she is not teaching, she freelances and donates her art time to local schools for logos, printed materials, and apparel.

Dave Shipley
Staff Support and Adjunct Instructor: Introduction to Desktop Publishing, Graphic Design, Design I and II
Dave has more than 25 years of experience in graphic design and digital publishing and is in his seventh year teaching at DMACC. He is a graduate from the Commercial Art Program at Hawkeye Technical College in Northeast Iowa. Dave obtained additional schooling in Graphic Design at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design as well as Journalism and Mass Communications at Iowa State University. Dave has worked for various Des Moines design and printing companies. He currently is the owner of DMS Advertising & Marketing.
