I have been enrolled in the DMACC Graphic Technologies course since the fall 2008 semester and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! I have become very skilled in the areas of multi-page publications, digital photo correction, page layout, and multi-page setup. I really enjoy digital layout in the form of card design and single-page designs and see these as my strong points. I am well versed in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. I feel that the DMACC Graphic Technologies program has had an enormous effect on my design skills and greatly anticipate graduation, so I can apply all of the skills I have learned in a real-world work atmosphere. |

I entered the Graphic Technologies program at DMACC because I really just wanted to learn more about design and printing. It turned out that I really liked both areas, but I decided I wanted to go into printing. I really like just being able take a design and put it on a press and print the final project. After DMACC, I plan on looking for a full time job in printing. I really enjoy what I have learned and would like to make it my career in the future. |

I have always had an interest in design. I have been working on Adobe Photoshop since early high school. I have obtained many skills and knowledge in graphic design, image correction, and page layout. I have broadened my knowledge in InDesign and Illustrator and have learned the basics of Dreamweaver. Printing has also encouraged me to continue my education in prepress. I would like a career where I can be creative, as well as use my skills and abilities in this fast changing field. |
