I started the DMACC Graphic Technologies program in the Fall of 2009 and I've had a great time! I've learned a lot about laying out documents for the press and how to print documents on the press. While I specialize in the pressroom, I've also made sure to say up to date with all the computer software and how it relates to work on the press. After I finish my degree in Graphic Technologies, I will be moving on to Web Design.

I took a huge step in my life last summer and quit my job to
finish school. After a few meetings with a counselor I registered for the Graphic Technologies program here at DMACC. I wont lie, I wasn't really sure what it was all about. It took me about a week to catch on, but after I did I really started enjoying it. I think this is a great educational and informational program that not only prepares you for a career, but helps open infinite creative doors. I am glad to say I got to be part of this program and
this great journey.

Now that web classes are available, I may try my hand at web design and see where that takes me.
