Upon completion of the Visual Communications Diploma, students may enter the Graphic Technologies degree program and complete an additional two semesters in the desired area of emphasis: Printing Technologies OR Digital Publishing. Students choosing the Printing Technologies emphasis will take advanced courses in full color offset printing and flexographic printing. Students choosing the Digital Publishing emphasis will take advanced courses in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. Both areas of emphasis are designed to prepare students for a job market that is currently in high demand for skilled technical professionals.
Structure of Classes
Small Clases: The courses in the Graphic Technologies program are designed for the benefit of the student. Printing lab courses are maximixed at only 13 per class - giving each student more teacher/student contact. Computer classes are maximized at 20 students.
