Scope

The Criminal Justice club is collaboration between the Polk County Sheriff’s office and the Des Moines Area Community College .  The club is designed to give students a chance to learn more hands on and practical applications into the field of criminal justice giving them an edge into a career in the criminal justice field.

Key Responsibilities

Students in the club are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and tactful way.  Students may also be asked to help with Polk County Sheriff’s Office events as well as charity type volunteer work in the area.  The members of the club are very committed to learning as well as giving back to the community.
