Directions to the Botanical Center
Eastbound on I-235, take East 6th Street-Capitol exit. Watch for Botanical Center signs. Turn right on Des Moines Street, downhill to East 1st Street dead end. Turn right and continue under the highway overpass. The Botanical Center is on your right just after the overpass. (If you miss Des Moines Street, keep going to Grand Avenue, turn right on Grand, turn right again on East 1st Street.)
Westbound on I-235, take East 6th Street exit to Des
Moines Street, turn right. Turn right again on East 1st Street; continue under
the highway underpass. The Botanical Center will be on the right after the
overpass.
Eastbound on Locust or Grand Avenue, turn left on East 1st Street, proceed as above. Eastbound on University Avenue, cross the bridge and turn right immediately, and right again onto East River Drive. The Botanical Center will be on your left.
Westbound on University Avenue, drive past Iowa Lutheran Hospital and take the LAST LEFT just before the bridge. Then turn right down the hill to the Botanical Center.
