Have you ever wondered why mixing color using the color wheel doesn't really work in painting - it just makes muddy colors? Would you like to paint realistically without resorting to formulas like "Bob Ross happy trees?"

In this class you will learn to paint using the techniques of the Flemish masters to gain a solid, technical background in color mixing and archival studio practices. You then have the skills and freedom to experiment with the style and media of your choice.
