The work you'll be doing...

When you enter the job market with an AAS degree, you can expect to do the following types of work: 

• Diagnose mechanical & functional failures
• Remove, repair, & install various components from diesel equipment
• Diagnose & repair electrical & hydraulic systems
• Modify existing machinery to improve or adapt from its original design
• Make recommendations concerning the repair & maintenance of machinery
• Use special tools & equipment to diagnose the condition of machines, systems, & components
• Use a computer to retrieve information & service equipment
