Architectural Millwork Scholarships

The AWI, IA / NE Chapter sponsors two $500.00 scholarships for students who enroll or are enrolled in the DMACC Architectural Millwork Program.

RCS Millwork, Ankeny, IA has funded a $1,000.00 scholarship parsed out in payments of $500.00 per semester. The “Ray Stuart Millwork Scholarship” honors Ray Stuart, the founder of RCS Millwork.

Since the program is limited to 16 students per year you have a 1 in 5 chance of receiving one of these scholarships if you meet the other requirements which include a short 1 page essay on why you would like to study architectural millwork.

The national Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) has several scholarships that they offer. Also, several companies from across Iowa are willing to sponsor you through this program in preparation to work for them.
