- Plan, organize, direct and control the operation of a health care facility.
- Recruit and hire professional and non-professional persons for the facility staff.
- Direct, supervise, and evaluate the work of staff.
- Participate in developing and leading continuing training and in-service education.
- Supervise operation of various departments such as business, nursing, dietary, laundry maintenance, and housekeeping.
