Generic Scholarship

Only accepted as completed on line: www.dmacc.edu/foundation/scholarships.asp

Use this scholarship when applying to Campuses other than the Newton Campus.

DMACC Foundation Newton Polytechnic Scholarship

Use paper copy and turn into Sheila Kelsey at Financial Aid Office before April 1.

• Must be attending Newton Campus 07-08 year
• Be at least 6 credits or more
• Verifiable GPA of 2.5
• Can show financial need

DMACC Foundation Newton Polytechnic Campus Academic Excellence Award

Use paper copy and turn into Sheila Kelsey at Financial Aid Office before April 1. One of these scholarships is given in a school year.

• Verifiable GPA of 3.0
• New or returning student who has completed less than 12 college credits
• Enrolling on Newton Campus with 12 or more credit hours both fall 2007 and spring 2008
• Attending Newton Campus
• Awarded $1000 for fall and $1000 for spring with criteria maintained
• Can be renewed for second year at DMACC

The Erskine F & Vina G Bennett Memorial Scholarship

Use paper copy and turn into Sheila Kelsey at Financial Aid Office before April 1. One of these scholarships is given in a school year for the fall semester only.

• Verifiable GPA of 3.0
• Enrolled on the Newton Campus for fall 2007
• Enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours
• Can show verifiable financial need

It is suggested that a FAFSA be completed for the 07-08 school year as a means of showing verifiable financial need.
