Welcome New DMACC Students

The following steps and information will help you begin your journey as a DMACC student:

1. Complete a DMACC Admission Application
   • Online or
   • View and Print or
     (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader - click here to download)
   • Call or email us to request an Application
2. Submit your high school transcript, college transcript, or GED scores.
3. Complete the Required Assessment.
4. Complete any other program or course prerequisites for the specific program for which application has been made.

Declare your program/major on the Application. If you're undecided, contact the Counseling and Advising Office at 515-964-6200.

After completing steps 1-4 (above), you'll be notified of your status. DMACC accepts students for most programs on a first come, first served basis. If a program is filled at the time you submit the application, you'll be notified that you have been placed on a stand-by status.
