Welcome New DMACC Students
The following steps and information will help you begin your journey as a DMACC student:
- Complete a DMACC Admission Application
- Online or
- View and Print or
(requires Adobe Acrobat Reader - click here to download) - Call or email us to request an Application
- Submit your high school transcript, college transcript, or GED scores.
- Complete the Required Assessment.
- Complete any other program or course prerequisites for the specific program for which application has been made.
Declare your program/major on the Application. If you're undecided, contact the Counseling and Advising Office at 515-964-6200.
After completing steps 1-4 (above), you'll be notified of your status. DMACC accepts students for most programs on a first come, first served basis. If a program is filled at the time you submit the application, you'll be notified that you have been placed on a stand-by status.
