The DMACC Fashion Institute (DFI) will host its 10th Annual Spring Fashion Show, a spectacular showcase of student talent, creativity and style, on Thur., April 18, and Fri., April 19, in the Black Box Theatre at the DMACC Ankeny Campus.

The theme of this year's show — "Midnight Metro" — will transport audience members to experience the electric buzz of New York City's subway system, promising an unforgettable journey in which the underground becomes a runway and every stop is a fashion destination. And at the heart of it all is a celebration of the DMACC Fashion program's dedicated students, whose passion and innovation shine through in every stitch, design and look. These inspired students have crafted an eclectic array of designs, ranging from avant-garde to upcycled.

“This past fall, I joined many of my DMACC Fashion program classmates on a New York City study tour, and throughout the trip, we were deeply inspired by the things we experienced,” said Jaelie Noglo, a second-year DMACC Fashion student from Togo who is the director of this year's show. “Our show's unique theme will encapsulate the energy that we felt during our time in the city that made it such a special experience.

“I can't wait for everyone to see all of the amazing designs that our talented and hardworking students have put together.”
