DMACC Winter Concert

The Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Winter Concert II 2007-2008 will be performed at 7:30 p.m., Sat., Mar. 1 in the Bldg. #6 Auditorium on the DMACC Ankeny Campus.  DMACC’s Concert Choir, Chamber Choir and volunteer ensembles will perform at the free concert.  Following the concert, the audience is invited to a reception in Bldg. #7 on the Ankeny Campus catered by Ranallo’s on Third.

The theme of DMACC’s International Year 2007-08 is the international aspects of Iowa. The DMACC Chamber Choir will sing music that represents the sacred music cultures of Israel, Ukraine and Italy while the Concert Choir music represents the sacred musical heritage from Brazil, India and from the USA African-American culture.
