DMACC West Campus Offers Computer Classes in February

The Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) West Campus, located at 5959 Grand Ave. in West Des Moines, is offering three non-credit continuing education computer classes in February. 

Internet & E-Mail Basics (Course # 25584)
Fri., Feb. 15, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Room 122W, $59
Getting tangled in the World Wide Web?  Unsure about using e-mail?  You’ll learn everything you need to know to effectively surf the web and become e-mail savvy.  Registration and payment are due by Tues., Feb. 8.

55+ Digital Photography (Course # 25684)
Thurs., Feb. 21, 28 and Mar. 6, 1 to 3:30 p.m., Room 210E, $69
You’ll learn about the features and settings of your camera, tips and tricks to improve your pictures, and finishing options.  Bring your camera and manual to class.  Registration and payment are due by Mon., Feb. 18.

Excel Basic (Course # 25588)
Fri., Feb. 29, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Room 122W, $109
Design basic spreadsheets.  Learn to modify a worksheet, perform calculations, format a worksheet, develop and print a workbook, and customize layouts.  Textbook and CD included.  Registration and payment are due by Fri., Feb. 22.
