Attention DMACC Financial Aid Applicants for Award Year 2008-2009
Posted 1/4/08

It is time to file for financial aid for the academic terms Fall 2008, Spring 2009 and Summer 2009.  Thousands of  students applied for financial aid at DMACC last academic term! To help you complete the financial aid process in a timely and efficient manner complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov If you do not have a Personal Identification Number (PIN), you may apply for one at www.pin.ed.gov. If you are a dependent student, your parents should apply for a PIN so that they can electronically sign your FAFSA. All campus locations should list DMACC Title IV School Code as 004589.  When you file on-line be sure to list DMACC Title IV school code, 004589.

Paper FAFSAs
The quickest way to apply is online using FAFSA on the Web at www.fafsa.ed.gov or go to www.FederalStudentAid.ed.gov and download a PDF version of the FAFSA. In addition, you may call 1-800-4-FED-AID and request a paper application.

Renewal 2008-2009 FAFSA Applicants
Financial aid applicants (2007-2008 filers prior to January 11, 2008) who provided a valid e-mail or mailing address to the U.S. Department of Education will receive a renewal FAFSA reminder between January 16 and February 11, 2008 for the 2008-2009 filing years.  However, if you did not receive a notification, please follow the instructions in this letter when filing your 2008-2009 FAFSA.
