Boone GED Graduation Ceremony

The 2007 Boone Campus GED Graduation Ceremony will be held 7 p.m., Tues., June 5th in the Boone Campus Auditorium. Morris (Mo) Kelley will be the commencement speaker. Mo is a 1953 graduate of Boone High School and a 1955 graduate of Boone Junior College. He joined the U.S. Army in 1955. From 1957 until 1971, he worked at both KWBG radio and the Boone News Republican, some of the time as General Manager of KWBG and Managing Editor of the Boone News Republican. From 1971 until 2001 he worked as Publications Director of the Iowa High School Athletic Association. From 2001 until the present, he is Sports Editor and Feature Writer for the Boone News Republican.

Music will be provided by Pam Grundstad. Refreshments will be served and the event is open to the public. For more information, call 433-5096.
