DMACC Music Program Choirs

If you want to be a part of a choir, you have a lot to choose from at DMACC. Choirs (both credit and volunteer) are a major part of the music program.

	Concert Choir (MUS 143 - 2 credits). There is no audition for this choir. Singers follow regular DMACC procedures to sign up for it. It meets 3 times a week. Performs one major concert at the end of each semester (winter concert & spring concert).
	Chamber Ensemble (MUS 150 - 1 credit). This choir is limited to concert choir members who must audition to be in it. Performs one major concert at the end of each semester (winter concert & spring concert).
	Ambassadors - volunteer choir. Can be a choir member or choir alum. Meets 3 times a week for 20 minutes.
	Show Choir - volunteer choir. Anyone who is a a DMACC student can participate. Combines music with dance although no dance experience is required.
	Madrigal - newest choir addition. Performs literature that is generic to madrigal groups. Open to anyone who is registered at DMACC.
