The unit cancellation method will help you solve many
types of medical conversion problems. Some of the more
complex problems like IV drip rates are more easily solved
with formulas specific to that situation but we won’t concern
ourselves with these formulas in this set of lessons. When
you are comfortable with making the standard conversions
using the unit cancellation method you will then be ready
to try solving the formula-specific kinds of problems.
