Converting medical dosages to tablets, pills, or liquid is very easy to do. In fact, you already know how to do it. It's simply a matter of learning how to read a drug label so you can use the right ratio in making the conversion. There is an old formula that's often used to make these kinds of conversions. It involves the dosage ordered and the dose on hand. But we won't be needing that formula. We will make our conversions using the unit cancellation method, the method we have been using throughout this course. Why use another formula when we already have a problem solving method we are familiar with? The key to mastering drug conversions is to use as few formulas or methods as possible. That will keep you focused and the path to solving clear.
