Social/Personal Services Career Cluster

Teaching, social work, counseling, and religious work are prominent in the Social/Personal Services cluster as well as jobs in food preparation, protective services and personal/nursing assistants. All require understanding and sensitivity to the needs of other people, a non-judgmental attitude and a willingness to put others' needs before one's own. Some of these careers call for a high level of education, but others only on-the-job training.
