Life Science Exploration

This camp is filled with exciting and educational lab experiments such as diffusion, osmosis, blood typing (simulated blood), cardio physiology and digestion; examine varieties of anatomy specimens with your eyes and through a microscope. It also includes a discussion on the amazing composition of the living world, the intricacy of the human body; how to best take care of the human body as well as career opportunities in life science. Life Science camp is designed for students entering grades 5, 6, 7 or 8.
Dates & Times:
Monday–Friday: July 21–25, 2008;
8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Location: DMACC, Ankeny Campus, Bldg. 4, Room 7
Cost: The $79 tuition will cover all camp expenses. Snacks will be provided each morning; camp will end Friday with a pizza party.
