The deadline for application is the date that we must have all required documents in hand. If your paperwork reaches us after the deadline, we will process your application for the next semester. Example: if you apply for admission for the Fall Semester, and your papers arrive after May 1st, we will process your application for the next Spring Semester. 

Applicants outside the United States:
All applications must be received NO LATER THAN 60 days prior to the first day of the semester:

Transfer applicants from within the United States:
(A transfer applicant is any student with a valid I-20 who has or will have completed one or more semesters at another United States college/university before attending Des Moines Area Community College.)

Summer Session
International students from another United States college/university with valid I-20 can study at DMACC during the Summer session. The student must submit the following documents to the DMACC International Student Office

1. DMACC Admission Application Form
2. Photo copy of valid I-20
3. Photo copies of passport, visa and I-94 form.

DMACC does not accept online application for Summer session admission.
