Mail all correspondence to the International Student Office. Final action will be taken on your application after all requested documents are received. When your application has been accepted, and the payment of $100 (U.S.) is made, an I-20 will be issued to you to apply for your visa and admission to the United States, or to transfer to DMACC, if you are already in the U.S.A.

Upon arrival in Iowa, please contact the International Student Office in Building #1 at the Ankeny campus. The phone number is 515-964-6471. Outside of the Des Moines area, use the toll-free number, 1-800-362-2127, then extension 6471. When you check in, we will make photocopies of pages from your passport and I-94 card, and of your I-20, so be sure to bring them with you. Further instructions will be given at that time about scheduling the Compass test, paying the deposit, and registering for classes.

If you have further questions, please contact us at the telephone numbers given above, at the Ankeny address listed at the beginning of this packet, or by e-mail at khuang@dmacc.edu. We will be looking forward to welcoming you to the college, and assisting you with your transition to living in Iowa.
