Job Description:   Central Iowa Manufacturer of custom research equipment has an immediate opening in its Engineering Department for a CAD Drafter or entry level Design Engineer. Candidate must be organized, with excellent PC and CAD skills, have good time management skills, be able to work independently and be able to quickly comprehend design intent. Experience with SolidWorks software and knowledge of sheet metal forming and punching within a manufacturing environment is a plus. Job duties include preparing drawings of chambers, parts, assemblies, electrical and refrigeration systems; prepare BOM’s; perform design changes; design small to medium refrigeration systems and support Engineering team as necessary.
