Online Instructor Training Schedule  
 

Session 1:  September 10, 2007 - October 26, 2007

Session 2:  October 22, 2007 – December 7, 2007

Session 3:  January 7, 2008 – February 8, 2008

Session 4:  February 25, 2008 – March 28, 2008

 
     

NOTE: We will be running 2 sections concurrently during Session 3. A maximum of 20 participants will be allowed in each section. One section is currently full.

     
 
  • All instructors teaching an online or blended course must have completed the online training course.
  • Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion.  A copy of the certificate will be turned into the Distance Learning office.  Prior to submitting an online grant request or teaching an online course, a Certificate of Completion form must be on file in the DL department.
  • The online training course is broken down into 9 modules over 5 weeks. Participants are expected to follow the given course schedule.
  • Participants are expected to be actively engaged in course activities, readings, and discussions.
  • Each participant will be enrolled in a blank course as an instructor.
  • Participants are encouraged to use classmates as a collegial network for continued advice and support.
  • Participants have the option of earning 2 graduate credits through Drake University by taking this training. Regular Drake tuition will apply.
