A display of melon arts: local artists carve out flowers from watermelons and other melons

This is inside the PuDon Airport (in ShangHai, China). I like its unique style and its serenity for a supposedly busy place.

The building material for this pavilion’s roof is dried grass.

My sister and I had fun posing in the Empress’s outfit. I got my sister’s permission to post hers. That hat is heavy. The outfit has way too many layers and strings.

Dad passed away on Christmas Day in 2009. He will forever be remembered for his exceptional intelligence, incomparable intellect, his unmatched optimism and his witty sense of humor. He will also be remembered as a great dad who can tell the most exciting stories; sing the old English folk songs with the most charming baritone voice and solve the most complicated math or physics problems you can bring to him. He is missed everyday!
