HoFang Street has become a tourist site in the past couple of years. It gives you a glimpse of a typical Chinese street over a hundred years ago.

The shops, restaurants and tea houses are kept as the old style. All sales people, waitresses and waiters are dressed in Chinese traditional clothes. The upper two pictures shows the general structure of the street and the front door of a tea house with a greeter standing next to a stature;

The lower left shows a Chinese art store. The artist is painting an Ancient Chinese Beauty inside a Crystal bottle. The paint brushes are extremely fine so that they can be inserted into the bottle. The bottle is sealed after the painting is done. You admire the artwork from outside the bottle. After watching the process, my sister and I just had to buy the product. The artwork is absolutely beautiful.

The lower right shows me standing by an old time bride-carrier. At an old wedding, the bride should be carried to the groom’s house in this kind of carrier.
