Biology 127 usually has the
highest percentage of unprepared students.
I was pleasantly surprised by my 127H section the past Fall
semester. They pay very close attention
during the lecture and strictly follow procedures in the lab. They made the highest exam average out of
all the biology127 I have taught at DMACC.
Several students in this class are excellent in every aspect. I hope I can have many more human biology
classes like this one.
Mrs. Moss gives you everything you
need to know to be successful in her class.
But it is up to the individual to listen, review and study.

Listen & pay attention during
class when Mrs. Moss gives notes. Many
examples are given and help when test time comes. Getting sample questions day before test day is always a plus!
----------Cris
Groves
Never miss a class. Go over the information at lease once a
night. Turn in all of your lab reports
and once again, never miss one class.
----------Ryan
Harrison
Attend every class & lab. Make sure you read every lab, turn in every
lab. Read the textbook as well as notes
given in class.

To pass Human Biology you need to
study hard, learn the study guides; review the sample questions because that’s
some free points there. Listen &
retain the information and if all else fails, show up at labs and pray you get
good grades because that’s 25% right there…
---------Thomas Heckler
Don’t wait till the night before the
test to study. Use all the free time
you can to look over the material. Go
to labs because you learn a lot & they are actually fun.
----------Racheal
Mannetter
Attend every class and take complete
notes. Prepare for and attend every
lab. If you review your notes (especially
when studying for an exam) and know the material on the study guides, you will
do fine on the exams.
---------Jill
Meyers
Take good notes in class and write
down extra information that might be important. And start studying at least three days before the test.
---------Andrea

Use the Study Concepts and testing
your knowledge at the end of each chapter to help you study. Don’t miss class, because you will fall
behind and not understand what was covered.
Keep good notes and pay attention to anything written on the board. Don’t wait till the last minute.

Study hard and go to class.
Study a lot and read the
textbook. You’ll find really
interesting information that may help studying easier.
Go to class everyday. Yon never know what you’ll miss.
Understand the material by reading
and taking proper notes. Read the
textbook!!
Go to class, go to labs, and definitely
listen to Mrs. Moss
Flash cards are very helpful in
studying biology.
