The Urban Librarian

Who We Are

Librarians

The Urban Library has four professional librarians available to help you with your research projects. Our librarians specialize in helping students locate appropriate resources, search the library databases, and use information ethically, such as appropriately citing sources and Works Cited/Reference lists. Each of our librarians is also available to provide research and/or citation orientations for classes that come to the library.

Library Staff

The Urban Library staff are available to help students with the general library needs, including checking materials in and out of the library. They also do much of the behind-the-scenes work in our library.

Urban Ambassadors

Urban Ambassadors are Urban Campus students who have been identified as student leaders, both academically and socially. The Urban Library is fortunate to have Ambassadors generally available Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

While Ambassadors may assista with a variety of Library activities, their primary goal is to assist with basic questions in the library classroom. Ambassadors are able to assist students with such activities as activiting their OneCard, and logging in to Web Info System.
