INFORMATIONAL SESSIONS PLANNED FOR OPTOMETRIC/OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN PROGRAM

The Optometric/Ophthalmic Technician Program will host an informational session for the program on Wednesday, April 4th at 2:30pm and Thursday, April 12th at 1:30pm in Bldg. #24, Room 202. The Optometric/Ophthalmic Technician Program will be accepting 24 students for the start of  Fall 2012 classes.

 

Whether you are on a waiting list for another health care program, a graduating high school senior, changing careers or simply interested in health care but don't know where to start, this information session will help you decide if the Optometric/Ophthalmic Technician Program is right for you. Attending an informational session is a pre-requisite for acceptance into the program.  Please contact the Program Chair, Dr. Marcia Holstad, at mjholstad@dmacc.edu or 515-965-7092 for more information.

 

 

*** Optometric/Ophthalmic Tech Program Admissions ***

š    There are four (4) requirements for admission to the Optometric/Ophthalmic Tech program

1.     Complete a DMACC application and state OPT TECH as your major

2.   Submit evidence of high school graduation or GED to the Admissions Office

3.   Attend a REQUIRED Optometric/Ophthalmic Technician Information Session

4.   Complete assessment requirements
