Respiratory Therapy

Pharmacology

 

In this course you will learn both general principles of pharmacologic interactions with the body and specific pharmacology of the pulmonary, cardiovascular, renal and central nervous systems.  You will learn to do the math needed to make calculations of the dosages of drugs to be administered, the beneficial and detrimental effects of drugs on the body and the ways in which you will administer drugs to patients and how you will evaluate the effects of those drugs on the patients.
