My Bio:

I am a product of the Community College system having graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville, IA.

I received my undergraduate degree in Marketing from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Nebraska @ Omaha. I have also completed my Ph.D. in Education from Iowa State University.

I have work experience in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations Management, Project Management as well as Personnel Management. I am a firm believer in application-based learning and I draw on my own experiences as well as the experiences of others to assist in the comprehension of the textual material.

I absolutely love teaching and have always tried to live by some advice I received from a professor during my undergraduate studies:

If you have a job that you love, you’ll never “work” a day in your life.
