
The electrical program prepares students for a career as an electrician in residential, commercial and industrial wiring.
At completion of the, program students should be able to install electrical wiring to NEC code in residential, commercial, and install motor controlled equipment in industrial operations.
Complex systems such as programmable logic controls used in manufacturing environments will also be applied.
The curriculums include the fundamental principles as well as their practical applications.
Upon program completion students may seek employment with area contractors or manufacturers maintaining plant equipment and support systems, or inter an apprenticeship program.
