PSEO Registration Information for Students

• Students may enroll in one or more courses, but must remain as part-time students. Part-time enrollment at DMACC is 11 credits or less during the fall & spring semesters.
• Students need to meet with their high school counselor and complete the “Notice of Student Registration Form”
• Signatures of parent/guardian, student and appropriate high school officials are required.

Procedures

Step 1.
Students begin the process by discussing with their high school counselor eligibility for PSEO, recommended postsecondary courses, and any costs to the student. If students plan to combine the PSEO and regular college enrollment options, they must stay at 11 hours or below, per semester. If a student registers for 12 hours or more, per semester, they forfeit their eligibility to use the PSEO option for that term, and will be required to pay for credits associated with PSEO.

Step 2.
Students complete the “Notice of Student Registration Form” available from your high school. Students under the age of 18 are required to have a parent or guardian’s signature. Signatures from the appropriate high school officials are also required.

Step 3.
The completed “Notice of Student Registration Form” can be faxed or mailed to DMACC by high school counselors. Books can be purchased after registration by obtaining a PSEO Bookstore Purchase Authorization Voucher from the high school counselor and having the voucher signed by a DMACC Business Office official. Information about parking permits is available at the Business Office on each campus.

Schedule of Classes

Semester schedules, with class days and times, will be mailed to your high school each semester, as soon as they are available. Refer to the schedule for the dates that new and returning students can register each semester. (Students who have previously participated in the PSEO program at DMACC are considered returning students.)

Registration

Students may want to list alternate classes, in case their first choice is full. Mail or fax the completed Notice of PSEO Student Registration form to DMACC.
