PSEO Registration Instructions for Counselors
Through the First Week of the Term
- The Notice of Student Registration Form must be complete with all Course Information: CRN #, Course Title, Time, & Credits.
- The Notice of Student Registration Form, Book Voucher and Payment & Participation Agreement Form must be completely filled in, including the Student’s Social Security number and all required signatures.
- The Notice of Student Registration Form and Payment & Participation Agreement Form must then be faxed to the DMACC Registration office, (515-965-7054).
- Because classes quickly fill up prior the beginning of each term, counselors are asked to call and inquire for “seats available” before faxing the PSEO form. Please call DMACC Registration, (515-964- 6800). If classes are already full, the student must go to the instructor and ask for permission to enroll in the class. The instructor’s signature permitting the student to take the class can be written on the PSEO Registration Form.
- PSEO BOOK VOUCHERS- need to be brought to the Student Accounts office (at the campus where the student will be attending classes) for authorization of registration. A photo ID of the purchaser is required at the DMACC Book Store.
After the First Week of the Term
Classes Held on Campus:
- A student must obtain the instructor's written permission for:
- Registering in a class
- Adding a class to their schedule
- Adding a class that shows full enrollment
- Instructors can be contacted before class time or by contacting the Dean’s office to obtain the instructor’s office phone number.
- All signatures (Student/ Parent, & School Official) must be in place on the Notice of Student Registration Form and the Payment & Participation Agreement Form.
- The High School Counselor needs to fax the completed Notice of Student Registration Form and Payment & Participation Agreement Form. The fax number for DMACC Registration is 515-965-7054.
Online Classes:
- A student must obtain the instructor's permission to enroll in an online class.
- Approvals can be obtained only by using the official online form. Direct emails are not accepted.
- Go to the DMACC website. https://secure.dmacc.edu/classisfull/iwantaccess.aspx
- The instructor will receive the request via email.
- The instructor will reply with an approval or disapproval to the student’s request.
- If the request is approved, both student and the DMACC Registration Dept. will be notified.
- The student will be registered in the requested class.
