Federal College
Work Study Program
The Federal
College Work Study Program allows students to obtain part-time
employment during the Fall & Spring semesters. Jobs
are located on-campus or off-campus (non-profit agency only). Wages
are $ 7.50 per hour. Awards are based on calculated need as determined
by information provided on the FAFSA. Annual awards may vary up
to a maximum amount of $1800 per academic year (Fall & Spring
semesters only) as noted on your Financial Aid Award Letter. The
work-study award is not a guarantee of employment. Available work-study
positions are posted through the DMACC Student Employment Assistance
Office.*** You are encouraged to seek out opportunities for employment
in community service positions. Such positions include, but are
not limited to: family literacy trainers/tutors/coordinators, reading
tutors, and mathematics tutors.
If you are eligible for work study positions, you should have
received notification. If you have not received notification, login
to the DMACC
Student Web and scroll to the bottom of the page and enter
your User ID (SS#) and your pin number. Once access is gained,
click on "Student Services and Financial Aid" and then
click on "Financial Aid."
