Core Requirements for Certificates & Diplomas

Diploma

  1. Maintain a 2.0 GPA on all work applicable for the AGS degree.
  2. A minimum of 1/3 of the semester credit hours applicable to the degree being pursued must be completed at DMACC.
  3. Complete the final 10 semester credit hours at DMACC.
  4. Complete all required courses in a particular program of study.
  5. Students must satisfy the following core:

One Communications course: COM 703, ENG 105, 108, ADM 157; and
One Social & Behavioral Science course: SOC 110, PSY 111, 102, or MGT 145; and
One Math course: any MAT or BUS 112, ELT 106.

Certificate of Specializations

  1. Maintain a 2.0 GPA on all work applicable for the AGS degree.
  2. A minimum of 1/3 of the semester credit hours applicable to the degree being pursued must be completed at DMACC.
  3. Complete the number of semester credit hours required in a particular program of study
  4. Complete all required courses in a particular program of study.

Certificate of Completion

A certificate of completion is issued to signify that a student has satisfactorily completed a program of instruction other than those listed above. Certificates are normally issued to students at the completion of a specific short term program of study.
