Vehicle Pool

Transportation Services are responsible for purchasing and maintaining the college fleet of over 60 vehicles. Their functions include preventive maintenance, repair, road service, and titling/licensing of DMACC vehicles. Cars and vans may be rented as needed for college purposes. Call the Physical Plant to reserve a vehicle well in advance of use. There is a mileage charge so please provide an account number when checking out a vehicle. Each vehicle has a credit card for gas and the vehicle must be returned with a full tank. While using a DMACC vehicle, parking is provided in lot H.

All drivers must have a satisfactory motor vehicle record to operate a DMACC vehicle, per Human Resources procedure HR3305. Prior to driving a vehicle for the first time, please provide the Physical Plant 72 hours notice to allow your motor vehicle record to be checked.

Due to safety concerns, the 15 passenger vans are restricted to only 9 occupants and require additional driver training per the DMACC Passenger Van Policy.

To make reservation, please call 964-6209. Vehicles are reserved on a first come first serve basis.
