Building a Foundation of Trust
Overview
This session helps team leaders to learn what to
say and do in order to elicit the best from their teams in a demanding
world of ever-changing markets, organizational upheavals, and increasing
employee diversity.
Participants explore how five simple operating principles, The Basic
Principles, can help them to develop the sense of trust that teams
need to create, take risks, and try new approaches at each phase
of team development.
Objectives:
- Identify several behaviors that will increase the level of trust team members have in the leader.
- Explain the “Four Phases of Team Development” and the changes a team goes through during each phase.
- Explain how The Basic Principles can increase the level of trust team members have in the leader.
- Use The Basic Principles to increase the level of trust team members have for the leader.

Building an Environment of Trust
Overview:
Broken promises. Failed teams. Stalled initiatives.
Sagging morale. These are just some of the destructive consequences
of a lack of workplace trust.
Trust is the responsibility of each individual-no exceptions. When
it?s there, you feel it. In a trusting environment, you see more
teamwork, partnering, and productivity. This course gives you hands-on,
proven strategies for building trust in the workplace.
Objectives:
- Take steps to strengthen trust in their interactions.
- Build a history of trust with coworkers.
- Encourage open communication.
- Develop an action plan for building trust with coworkers, team members, customers, and leaders.
