Maintenance:
Basic course on solid-state fundamentals in commercial and industrial facilities. Study a variety of components and how they are used in power or control circuits. Symbols and schematics are a major part of this course. Learn how to troubleshot and test various solid-state devices. See the difference in AC and DC applications for these devices. Student should have a base knowledge of AC/DC theory. Class length depends on need, application, and amount of lab. |
Digital Electronics
Maintenance:
Basic course on digital fundamentals for commercial and industrial applications. Study microprocessors and how they are used in today's technology. Look at the different digital processing methods and where they are used. Identify control vs data retrieving systems. See how these systems interface with each other and study cabling characteristics. Learn how to install and troubleshoot a variety of devices and cables. Student should have a basic knowledge of AC/DC theory and solid-state devices. This course is an introduction to Digital Control Systems. Class length varies by need and amount of lab. |
