This track offers you the opportunity to learn and enhance your Windows 2003 network administration, security and design skill set with an instructor-led, hands-on class. Each course in this track is taught using lessons, discussions, and hands-on labs. Lab based classes offer a theoretical understanding of network operations plus hands-on experience performing the task. Each course is validated to Microsoft Best Practices and Microsoft Learning objectives.

As an Analyst, Engineer, Network Administrator and IT Professional, you will benefit from an increased knowledge and skill set using best practices and an understanding of the latest security and their implementation. This track provides the foundation, building blocks, objectives and the body of knowledge for over 7 Microsoft Certification Exams which can assist you towards your MCP, MCSA and MCSE. Keep in mind by passing one exam, you are a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). Three additional exams are required for the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) while three exams beyond the MCSA, is the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.

Meetings:
Instructor-Led,
Hands-On, Lab-Based classes will meet once per week for 4 hours
at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny. There are 22
class meetings. Instructors are available by phone or email
