Student Employment Assistance

As a student, we offer you employment assistance services on any campus. The Student Employment Assistance Center works closely with business and industry to be aware of their employment needs.

Student Employment Assistance services provided at no cost to students and alumni include:

  • Registration and referrals for full-time career opportunities (see below).
  • Help with writing resumes, and cover, application and thank you letters.
  • Interviewing tips and techniques and mock interviewing opportunities.
  • Listings of part-time employment opportunities available in the area.
  • Information concerning summer employment & internships.
  • Recruiting visits and interviews by employers may be held on campus.
  • Referrals for students who are eligible for college work-study (see financial aid to determine if you are eligible). Click here to see Ankeny work-study job openings.

  • Resource library including books and videos with information for every step of a job search.
  • Interactive website for resume and job postings (see below).

Looking for a Job?

The Student Employment Services Office can provide job openings to you in two ways:

  1. If you are looking for full-time work and are a current DMACC student or alumni, complete the print version OR the online registration form below. Submitting this registration form allows us to forward job opportunities in your career field to you.
  2. Search our full-time job database on my.dmacc (Note: you must have a valid dmacc.edu email address to access this site)
  3. Place your resume on the website iowacareer.net below.

Free Online Service - Iowacareer.net
DMACC, along with other Iowa community colleges, offers an online job service called Iowacareer.net.  Use this service to post your resume for Iowa employers to view.  The service also lets you view job openings from Iowa employers.  Click here to enter Iowacareer.net.
